44th District Interact Conference

The 44th District Interact Conference ( DIC ) was held on the 29th of November until the 2nd of December last year. The annual conference took place at the Eagle Ranch Resort , Port Dickson. This event was hosted by the Rotary Club of Senawang. About 300 - 400 interactors nation wide attended the event, 7 of which were our very own interactors, Sarah, Ka Hoe, Wai Kei, Calvin, Kye Jan, Chee Loong and Nicholas.

Ice-Breaking Session.
  • poker cards - according to the value and suits
  • Name tags with a sticker that indicated which group one would be in. The stickers were either Pink, Green  or Orange.
  • Each colour was divided into smaller groups / teams. Example : Orange 1, Orange 2, Orange 3 and Orange 4.




The Tasks.
  • Groups were to be in charge of the stage props, breakfast , lunch, tea, dinner, supper and games.
  • There were 5 meals a day. Each team were appointed to prepare one meal. For instance, Pink 2 would prepare breakfast and Green 4 would prepare dinner. After dinner, another team would be in charge of cleaning up the place.
  • The objective of this was to train the interactors from young, to allow the shy or timid ones to break out of their comfort zone and overcome stage frights as well as build up confidence whenever they are onstage.
